| OTHER POWER SOURCES (OPTIONAL) | This camera can be powered by almost any 9 to 12 volt battery or DC power source. Standard car or marine batteries may be used to power this unit for long term field applications (with or without solar panels). Multiple battery packs can also be used together for longer operating times. |

Each balun attaches to one end of the CAT5 cable and converts it to a video connection. This is normally the best option for very long runs and if you wish to use existing CAT-5 wiring instead of running new wires. |
